About Me

Photography is my latest acquired taste. I started out experimenting with pinhole photography and quickly moved into film. Then I figured out it would be nice to get more involved in the chemical processes, so I started developing my own film. I progressively started taking workshops and ended up enlarging prints in a darkroom. I got so hooked, falling in love with this new language, that I'm now building my own darkroom, fully equipped, with the basic capabilities of developing, scanning, and enlarging prints. One of the things I discovered through the process of getting familiar with all the photographic styles is concert photography.
The lighting is really challenging, and I like the perfect combination of music and live movement — being able to capture the emotion. I shoot digital as well as analog. I have some other skills that come in handy and turn out to be a perfect mix into the  creative flow, such as electronics, circuit-bending, coding, and various DIY engineering stuff.
